Project Overview
SA Civil & Anti Corrosion Specialists completed a 2,500 m² industrial epoxy flooring installation at the Federal Mogul (Ferodo) factory in Prospection. The existing concrete floor was diamond ground before minor repairs and paste patching were carried out using ABE Epidemix 314. The floor was then primed with ABE WD337 water-based epoxy primer and barrier coating before the application of a 1 mm self-smoothing Abecote 400 HI Build epoxy flooring system. A custom floor colour was developed specifically for Federal Mogul and became the standard flooring colour throughout the facility.

Project Overview
SA Civil & Anti Corrosion Specialists refurbished the production facility flooring for Beiers Group in Pinetown. Extensive surface preparation was undertaken to remove existing floor coatings, repair damaged concrete and prepare the substrate for a new epoxy flooring system. The floor was primed with ABE WD337 epoxy primer before the installation of a 1 mm Abeflo epoxy flooring system in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, producing a seamless, durable and high-gloss industrial finish.

Project Overview
SA Civil & Anti Corrosion Specialists completed the flooring and wall-to-floor coving system for the new Enaleni Pharmaceuticals facility in Mobeni. A 75 mm radius cementitious coving was constructed using SikaRep repair mortar after the application of Sikadur 32N Primer to ensure excellent adhesion. Once cured, the floor was primed with Sikafloor 156ZA before the installation of a 2 mm Sikafloor 261 SS2 epoxy flooring system, creating a seamless, hygienic and durable finish suitable for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The project began with wet diamond grinding to prepare the concrete surface, followed by repairs using epoxy skimming paste where required. A diluted ABE WD337 water-based epoxy was applied as both a primer and barrier coating before the floor received three coats of ABE WD337 water-based epoxy, creating a seamless, durable and easy-to-maintain finish.
